Assistant Finance Director, City of Adrian

The City of Adrian is currently accepting applicants for the position of Assistant Finance Director.  This position, under the general direction of the Finance Director; manages the day-to-day operations of the departmental staff; develops, recommends and implements departmental policies and procedures.  Other responsibilities include assistance with the annual budget, the annual audit and preparation of the City’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.  The Assistant Finance Director is responsible for the City’s purchasing process, bidding process, and financial reporting. 

This position requires 5+ years’ experience in accounting or finance administration.  A Bachelor’s Degree in finance or related field is required.  Candidates must have knowledge of regulations and requirements governing accounting and municipal finance.  Salary range is $55,233-69,289.
