Treasury Accountant - Perform valued accounting functions within the Washtenaw County Treasurer’s Office. Reconcile complex bank statements; extract and analyze information from financial system; resolve problems; write journal entries, maintain debt schedules, communicate with departmental staff and cross functional departments to resolve issues. Successful candidate will be skilled user of Excel, Word, Access, and enjoy learning new technology. Bachelor’s degree in accounting required. Master’s degree or additional certification helpful. Minimum five years of general ledger accounting and bank reconciliation experience required. Full-time position. Remote work from home options during business hours. Covid vaccination required.


Salary : $50,741 - $54,682 a year

Job Type: Full-time – 37.5 hrs/week
