City Treasurer, City of Adrian

The City of Adrian is currently accepting applicants for the position of City Treasurer. This position, under the general direction of the Finance Director; manages the collection of City property taxes, water and sewer billings, special assessments, and other resident charges. Other responsibilities include preparation of City tax rolls, collection, distribution and settlement of all property taxes, and reconciling various bank accounts for the City. The City Treasurer is responsible for settlements with the County, State and various school districts and public entities as required.

This position requires 5+ years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related field. A Bachelor’s Degree in finance or related field is preferred. Candidates must have knowledge of regulations and requirements governing tax collection and municipal finance. Salary range is $59,478 to $74,616.
