Deputy Finance Director, City of Saline

The City of Saline is accepting applications for the position of full-time Deputy Finance Director. Under the general direction of the Finance Director/Treasurer, this position assists in managing the City’s accounting, budgeting, cash management, investment, and pension administration functions. This role involves preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, conducting budget analyses, and supporting financial oversight and guidance for senior management. The position ensures compliance with financial regulations and supports strategic financial planning.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in accounting, finance, public finance, or a closely related field is required. 3 to 5 years of experience with governmental fund accounting preferred.

Starting salary is $69,500/yr to $76,800/yr DOQ. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, or in lieu waiver, and employer paid life insurance, short- and long-term disability. 11 annual paid holidays.
