Public Finance Manager, Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA)

The Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) is seeking applicants to fill a full-time position as the Public Finance Manager. The Financial Services Area (FSA) is responsible for the issuance and management of debt and other financial obligations for GLWA.  As part of the Financial Services Area (FSA), the Public Finance Manager is responsible for monitoring outstanding obligations, advising on the financing of capital projects, providing market disclosure on the GLWA, coordinating rating agency and investor relations, and providing support and education to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.  A detailed job description can be found on the GLWA website following this link:  https://us61.dayforcehcm.com/CandidatePortal/en-US/greatlakeswater/Posting/View/999.

This position requires:

  • A master’s degree in finance, public administration, economics, business preferred, or equivalent experience and/or training.
  • Management level experience in public finance, public administration, municipal finance/bond field, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience performing financial analysis and public finance functions in corporate or government organizations preferably utilities.
