Kent County has an opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Manager.  The successful candidate will manage the procurement of goods and services by the County.  They will develop and implement practices and procedures to help ensure cost-effective acquisition of capital equipment, contractual services, and operating materials and supplies for all operating departments of the County under a centralized purchasing environment.   Ensures that all procurement activities comply with professional codes of ethics as well as established County policies and procedures.  They will lead a team of purchasing professionals including a Purchasing Supervisor, Buyers and Buyer Technician.
