Professional Development Committee

The PDC will strive to provide the membership of the MGFOA with affordable opportunities for professional growth by offering or sponsoring training, in theory and practice in the area of finance, as required or desired by the membership.  The committee also provides webinars and various topics that are relevant to new accounting pronouncements and changes in State laws effecting governmental entities.  Currently, the PDC committee is working on scheduling its training sessions for 2019 which include the Introduction to Public Finance, Back to Basics I, II and III and Advanced Accounting and Advanced Budgeting.  If you have specific recommendations on potential topics, please email the Chair or Vice-Chair.
