Founded in 1938, the Michigan Government Finance Officers Association (MGFOA) is a professional association dedicated to promoting excellence in government finance across the state. As a trusted resource for over 85 years, we support public sector finance professionals through a robust framework of education, professional development, and the exchange of practical knowledge. Our community is composed of more than 600 members representing nearly 500 Michigan communities, creating a powerful network of Finance Directors, Treasurers, Controllers, and Accountants.
