The MGFOA Mentorship Program connects members for one-on-one guidance, professional growth, and stronger relationships within Michigan’s public finance community.

What Is the Mentorship Program?

The MGFOA Mentorship Program is a one-year initiative designed to connect new and seasoned members of the Michigan Government Finance Officers Association.

Participants are matched in one-on-one mentor and mentee pairs and meet regularly to share experiences, discuss career goals, navigate professional challenges, and strengthen connections within the public finance profession.

In addition to individual meetings, the program may include virtual group gatherings that allow participants to learn, network, and grow as a mentorship community.
