Relationships Are at the Heart of MGFOA

MGFOA events are designed to help members learn, collaborate, and build meaningful professional relationships. Whether you are new to public finance or have been involved for years, networking is one of the most valuable parts of the MGFOA experience.

Throughout the year, MGFOA hosts dedicated networking events while also creating opportunities to connect through trainings, conferences, committees, the Board of Directors, and other association activities.

Held in connection with the Spring Seminar, this informal gathering gives members and guests a chance to reconnect, meet new colleagues, and start the seminar experience with conversation and connection.

MGFOA hosts a networking social during the GFOA National Conference, bringing together Michigan attendees and MGFOA members in a national conference setting.
